MEET THE ARTISTS:

Gertrude Bradley is a spinto soprano who loves to sing Spirituals, art songs, contemporary Gospel, and Broadway show tunes. Her vast classical repertoire includes arias from the operas La Rondine, Aida, La Forza Del Destino, Porgy and Bess, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Carmen, Otello, Tannhaüser, La Wally, and Adriana Lecouvreur, to name a few.

She has appeared in numerous concerts throughout the United States and has performed internationally in Taiwan, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, the Philippines, Israel, South Africa, Namibia, Congo, Nigeria, and Egypt.

Gertrude has sung recitals for the organization African Americans for LA Opera and appeared in the LA Opera production of Porgy and Bess. She has sung on prestigious stages including the Hollywood Bowl, Disney Concert Hall, Avery Fischer Hall in Lincoln Center, Madison Square Gardens, Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Philharmonie in Berlin Germany

Ms. Bradley has over 30 years of experience in musical theatre, which includes professional performances in the Crystal Cathedral’s The Glory of Christmas, and The Glory of Easter productions and a two-year tour with the Whispers in their production of Thank God the Beat Goes On.

She is a host, teacher, and musician on Open Door Communications Network program The Lord Reigns.

 

Greg Schreiner is the pianist, narrator and producer of Hollywood Revisited. He has appeared on numerous television programs including AMC’s Hollywood Fashion Machine and A&E’s The Incurable Collector.  As a pianist, Greg has performed as soloist with the Los Angeles Concert Orchestra, Santa Monica College Symphony, UCLA Symphony Orchestra, Cypress Orchestra and performed at the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Olympics. He has several recordings in release including the soundtrack from Hollywood Revisited. He is been on the piano faculty at Santa Monica College since 1986 and at Cerritos College since 1989. Greg performs extensively around Southern California. He is also accompanist for the Mansfield Chamber Singers of Beverly Hills.  Mr. Schreiner  performed the Shostakovitch 2nd Piano Concerto for the PBS series “In Search of Wisdom”.  He has given recitals at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda  and at the Bellflower Civic Auditorium. He recently performed Saint-Saens’ Carnival of the Animals with the Santa Monica College orchestra. Greg has been organist at Saint Augustine by the Sea Episcopal Church since 1989.

Mr. Schreiner holds Master Degrees in piano performance from UCLA and Western Illinois University, and is president of the Marilyn Monroe Fan Club. Marilyn has been a huge part of Greg’s life since he was a six years old and saw Marilyn on the big screen in Some Like It Hot.  Marilyn has influenced and enriched his life in so many ways and brought many great experiences and friends who share the love of Marilyn.
