Christopher Koelsch and James Conlon Announce New Season to Record Crowd at League's Preview Event

Opera League Members enjoy an afternoon of exciting announcements of the new season!

On January 27th, Los Angeles Opera announced the schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 season to the largest crowd ever to attend the League's annual Preview event.  Members learned of upcoming productions scheduled for LAO's 30th anniversary season from Chrisopher Koelsch, President and CEO of Los Angeles Opera,  and Maestro James Conlon, Richard Seaver Music Director of LAO.

Josh Winograde, Senior Director, Artistic Planning, and Director of the LAO's Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program, led the Young Artists in performing arias selected from next season's productions.  A light dinner buffet was served after the event.

The Annual Preview is provided to members as an annual event free of charge.  We thank our generous donors who supported the musical portion of the program.

Our sincere thanks go to Helga Kasimoff and her sons for providing the Bluthner piano.
