Andrea Puente Catán, widow of late composer Daniel Catán, will be joined by mezzo-soprano Nancy Fabiola Herrera, writer, producer and broadcaster Martin Perlich and Cal State Northridge Professor Emeritus William Toutant to give us a taste of this opera's magical realism.
Award winning Countertenor John Holiday, who will be appearing in LAO's production of Dido and Aeneas, will be joining USC's Adam Gilbert and UCSB's Simon Williams to shed some light on two one-act operas performed together that yet were composed over two hundred years apart. Lunch can be ordered in advance.
Ben and Dolores Kerr welcome guests with a comfortable humor and grace
