Louis Lohraseb, acclaimed conductor and 2020 graduate of LA Opera's Young Artist program, will take lead us on a deep-dive of The Barber of Seville from the conductor's point of view, illustrating the joys and the challengers of conducting an opera wherein the composer intentionally did not write everything down in the score because he expected future conductors to add their own "flavor."
