FOR OUR 2nd AND FINAL
OPERA LEAGUE DAY TRIP OF THE SEASON!
We’ll arrive in San Diego with fellow Opera League travelers by chartered bus or train for a pre-arranged lunch at the atmospheric Prado Restaurant in the heart of Balboa Park.
Then we’ll whisk you away to downtown La Jolla and immerse you in the intimacy of a beautiful Chamber Concert presented by Le Salon de Musique.
Enjoy Chamber pieces by Fanny Mendelssohn, Liszt songs for Soprano and Piano, and the US Premiere of Hiller Piano Quintet. Add to that a free glass of champagne and “Conversation” between audience and musicologist.
We’ll conclude with a light French Buffet before returning back to Los Angeles, soothed and satiated.
