Scottish soprano Janis Kelly makes her LA Opera debut in our current production of Albert Herring as the indomitable Lady Billows. Current and most recent appearances include Madame Jouvenot in Adriana Lecouvreur and Nella in Gianni Schicchi at Covent Garden, the Foreign Princess in Rusalka at Grange Park‚ Pat Nixon in Nixon in China at the Metropolitan Opera.
She has been a vocal professor at the Royal College of Music in London since September 2007 with many student successes in internal, external and international awards and prizes and presently employed by major British companies.
